| Any Roamers in Ontario or elsewhere in Canada?
Just wondering if there are any Roamer enthusiats in Ontario or anywhere else in Canada. Given that products and services that are seem more available down in the US are not always available north of the border, I thought it would be nice to see if there are any other Canadians using the forum.
Thanks,
Bearhair in Ontario near Ottawa.

| 57 steel roamer
I,ve had a steel Roamer sincce 1992 , which came from Erie PA. we cut the bottom off 10yrs ago and went from there new everything in side , kept the engines and rebuilt them , have a Neptunus type of modern interior , ultra leather throughout on walls and ceiling as well as all the furniture . the stupid deck gives me more grief than anything , have West system on deck but it keeps cracking

Search the old roamer threads or maybe someone can point you right to it.

I have seen a few for sale on Kijiji, including two different offshores. There seems to be a few around. I am still working out the bugs in mine, a real project boat, but I am happy to say its definitely coming along. The previous owner did a lot of work to it, including putting a pair of diesels in it,and now I am working on getting them running right.

If you want a MAJOR project, near Scragge ON Georgian Bay area, sitting in a scrap yard is the hull of a 35' Roamer approx 1960. All superstructure is gone, same with engines tanks etc. Probably in scrap yard due to rusty hull. But if you want a project boat, or a big open boat, this is it.
