Need info for 25' Roamer

Just purchased a 1958/9 Roamer 25' Sportsman. Unfortunatley it came in not-labeled pieces, but overall in good shape. She has twin K's. I need to ask a few questions of someone who has a similar boat. I know there are not too many out there.

Welcome to the Forums Doug. Have you tried plugging 'Roamer" into the search above?

A Roamer Dive Boat is a bad thing?

Nice 25', Do you have any pictures of the interior and deck? Would like more room for Diving on my 27'. Roamers are stable platform for diving but a little crowded with 6 divers.

Iaranicki and WreckTreker,

The maximum image size we allow is 640 pixels wide. I have adjusted the images you have posted above, which were HUGE. Please refrain from posting further images if you can not abide by our guidelines.

wreck treck,
I have no detailled pics
I see that you have an MC registrationas.
The guy that owned the 28' is in Cheboygan you can probably find him.
I belive he was called Chris Clarmont.
But all this was in 2004 since god knows what happened to the RSE 28 202
if anyone finds out let me us know.

By the way what is the hull number of your 27 ? is it on the survivors list?
I trying to help out Eric to have as many boats as possible.
Let me know
Ivan

Hull Number

Ivan,
Hull # is RXB270127R. It had a hardtop but the previous owner removed it. Engines are original 283's but have been up graded with new carbs and electronic ignition. I also put in a whole new deck with new stringers and Custom color Line X covering, transom door and all new wiring, AC and DC.

...., and she's still a beaut!
Go figure how many 27' Bayliners will be able to say the same. My guess (0).
Nothing like good bones, and a knowledgeable surgeon, eh?
Great work Gordon (Mr. "Roamer-of-the-Month"!) - "Wreck Roamer" has entered the Roamer firmament properly positioned as the shining Silver Comet she is.
Pls accept our gratitude and appreciation for all the hard work you've done.
(It was you, rite?)
Cheers!

Should you care to partake, I'll formally designate "Wreck Roamer" as our Silver Comet delegate.
