Carver 444 CPMY vs Meridian 459 CPMY

Hi all, I have a carver mariner and I am thinking to upgrade to carver 444 cpmy. While I was looking online I found meridian 459 that looks very similar and has the same engines. I am not familiar with meridian as a builder. Can somebody explain to me the differences? Also, any feed back on 444 CPMY?

Carver vs. Meridian

You cannot compare the two boats at sea.
You should test drive each boat and see the difference. My advice is sea trial them on a snotty day.

Not too snotty a day. The 444 absolutely had my attention in 4' seas. Prefer the engineroom layout of the Meridian, especially not accessing from the salon
