My '93 Carver "Sea Casa" (1060 hrs) has the original carpet and upholstery. The carpet (baby blue) is in need of replacement. I'm looking for input on how to approach this. Skill level of the installer? How to remove the glued down carpet from the floor panels without damage to the panels? Is a specific type of glue recommended? What brand of carpet is recommended? Has anybody worked directly with Carver for interior reupholstering? What cost factor might I expect? I’ve got a lot of interior teak and will likely own her for several years so maybe I should just redo the entire interior and cover the white fabrics with leather. Any photos of interior remodels would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
