Windows Caulk problem on Cabo 43 - 2005

    On my Cabo when I wipe down the windows the black caulking rubs off on the chamois. Is there a way to stop this without recaulking the windows?

    Had the same situation with an '02 Viking SC and saw it on several others. Time to recaulk.

    So how hard is it to remove this type of caulk? Can I reasonably remove it and replace it myself?

    Wish I had considering the nightmare I had when the yard did it instead of subbing it out. It's not a real hard DYS job, but it's nice to have someone to go back to if it leaks like a sieve. Check a glazier for price and see.

    Is it possible to caulk over the existing caulk?

    If the caulk is OK i.e. no leaks. Try a couple coats of carnauba paste wax. I'm not kidding.
