I just want to let you know I bought this boat last week. I have a Glastron 249 and my wife and I were looking for something bigger. This boat is in the same marina as we are and we went for it.

I will be looking for tips and anything you can think of to help me learn the ropes of a boat this big.

The first thing is the MSD has to be replaced. Currently there is a porta-potty.

Anyone have any information/recommendations for a replacement?

I found a number painted on the hull 691926.

That number appears to be a Coast Guard Documentation number that has long since expired. That record is for a 38' boat last documented with the name "E-Z Weigh" The Chris Craft hull ID is a different series of letters and numbers.

What a fantastic find.
Changed over to 454s myself - not having the best of luck, but then again they were takeouts.
The 38 Regal is truly a joy to own - low maintenance and super strong -- for once the sales brochure was correct!
Appreciate the hull# very (very) much - can report that out of 12 Regal 38' hulls, we have accounted for at least six now - afloat and doing well:
