Broward Marine continues to grow.

Broward Marine is pleased to announce that industry veteran James Brewer has joined the firm as General Manager. In a thirty year career in the Florida Yacht Service industry, Brewer spent the last eight and a half years as Service Director and then Vice President of Service at the well known Rybovich yard in West Palm Beach, Florida. Prior to that, he spent nineteen years as the General Manager of the renowned Derecktor Gunnell yard in Dania Beach, Florida.
Brewer joins accomplished boat builder and Broward’s new Production Manager Peter White and, together, they will focus on “building a better Broward”. Since the yard’s rebirth in 2005, a completely new product has been designed and the first boat launched to rave reviews. There are currently three boats in production, all of which have been sold, and a fifth hull is due to start shortly.
Brewer will also work with Broward Service Manager Butch Risker and focus on taking the already successful repair and refit yard to the next level, with the modernizing and optimization of the existing facilities and procedures.
