    This week the Tall Ships Race 2007 will finish the second leg in Stockholm, latest news on the race is here; http://www.sailtraininginternational.org/page.asp?partid=25

    The tall ships were in Newport during the first weekend of July. I took my family out on the boat to watch the parade. . .what a show. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance. The Columbian ship Gloria and the German ship Gorch Fock II came around the Island under full sail. What a beautiful sight. Anyone that has a chance to catch a glimpse of the ships should make it a point to do so.

    Today is the last day in Stockholm before the Parade through the Archipelago tomorrow and the restart on Tuesday. I´ll see if I can catch the Fullriggers under sail, perhaps you can too if you watch the webcams as above...!

    After the Tall Ships had left on Monday, the visiting Feadship Mylin IV got a nice berth...

    This morning the ships left Stockholm to go out to the starting area, about 35 Nm east where the open sea begins. The wind today shifted so most ships were motoring, here are five of the largest anyway...
