    yachts at Bahia Mar

Great to see these photos of yachts "on the other side of the pond".

Indulgence is the ex-Lambda Mar. She was launched at Marinteknik Sweden in 1994 to a design by Frank Mulder. Mulder of course implies speed; that was provided : two 3050 hp MTU's with an extra Textron 4056hp gas turbine. According to the latest info, the waterjets are still there but the gas turbine has been removed... On the inside, she has a beautiful, light creamy interior by Paola Smith.

    Lord Jim

Whoa, years since I saw her !!

She was launched as Lady Duvera in 1991 by the Dutch yard of Hakvoort b.v. for a Dutch owner. Classic trideck by Diana Yacht Design who have given us yachts as the renowned Lady Moura.

Later on she was sold a few times and today she is owned by an American.

The original Dutch owner had plans to buy her back but in the end he decided not to do so but to have an almost exact copy built at Hakvoort. That yacht, also Lady Duvera, was launched in 2001 and can usually be found on our side of the pond, at Port Camille Rayon between Cannes and Antibes in the village of Golfe Juan.

    the Picchiotti Southerly

This is a yacht that has not been over to the Med for a long time. Southerly is a Picchiotti designed by the late Arthur De Fever and she was launched in 1982. The yard of Picchiotti has gone under years ago and their facilities are now part of Perini Navi.

Thanks to your photo, I can see that she had a big refit not so long ago where the accommodation on her bridge deck was extended with quite a bit.

    Hey Dave,

You'de have to be in stealth mode for me to miss a 42' post... it's one of my favorite sportfish boats. If you get a chance, post a picture of it and tell us a little about your ownership experience with it.

    See you online!
