    Hello all!

My name is Aleksi Lindström, am from Helsinki, Finland and have three mystery yachts for you from Greece, in case anyone could be able to identify them or some of them.

    Here we go:

An old yacht in Perama roads (near Piraeus) on the 19th of June 2006. Might have the flag of United Arab Emirates or some other with green, white, black and red colours:

An unfinished yacht in Perama shipyards, Greece on the 19th of June 2006. Was there already in 2004, so maybe a really old project?

And the last one; a catamaran-type yacht in floating dock in Perama on the 23rd of June 2006:

So if anyone could be able to help me, it would simply be great! Thank you in advance!

    Brgds,
    Aleksi

    One solved...

Solved one the yachts in question, the first one is the MADIZ, built in 1902 and in Perama for extensive refit. But the other two still remain... ;)

The second one is really interesting, a big motorsailor?

Perhaps we should ask Newcruise design, they apparantly designed something in the reign of 325 feet, an Event sailing yacht. Perhaps that is/was this?

    Hi,

Interesting to read in the equipment list the "brand new" Auxilaries are actually a discontinued engine series.

They were a great series when they were about producing 60% of the output cranked out of the later ones.

The super high output ones suffered from huge oil consumption and reliability problems.

Perhaps the best would be seeing this one as a motoryacht, forget the sticks and make it a sleek motoryacht.

I heard that the unfinished sailing yacht was a Golden Yachts project. The specifications sheet in the brokers listing has her name as O'DYSSEY which would indicate that also. their yachts as you know are all named starting with O' for instance O'MEGA, O'RION etc. The hull has been in perama a long time, definitely much longer than the 2004 stated on the listing. who knows what happened to leave her unfinished...
