Man it sure is nice to get on board some of these babys. The thing that started my interest in mega yachts was an inviite to go on board the yacht Fantasy. A friend of a friend was a crewing on her a few years ago and knew that I was really interested in yachts and invited me for a tour. He is now crewing the yacht Valkery. It was in St.Martin but left just before we arrived.
So since then I've been buying up every magazine and doing lots of reading. My friends think I'm nuts when we go to St.Martin. I can tell just about every yacht from miles away!

I also have another great story. Another friend was in a little "competition" to see who could out do the other. So he chartered Leander for the Monaco Grand Prix for 5 days just for the fun of it. Sucks eh?

Was lucky enough to go for a little plane ride in a Cessna to check out the reggatta in St.Barts last week. Gustavia harbour was pretty much void of the big yachts but there were still some. Looks like Georgia in this pic

Here's a nice shot of Reveier in front of the cruise ships in Philipsburg SXM. She sure looks small compared.
