Took a cruise on Sunday... lotsa yachts to spot. Frankly, I was a little distracted and missed a lot of photo-opps. But... I had an excuse. Her name was Gina. :)

There were atleast 5 to 6 Westports, ranging from 98' to 130'. This is just one of the three 112's we saw between Port Everglades and Bahia Mar (a one mile stretch). Suffice to say, it's a very popular yacht... and with good reason!

For those of you who like the classics, you can always count on me to include them. This is the Trumpy "Glory". Built in 1952, it is 64 feet in length.

(Thanks to YachtForum's member "Rodger" for the details!)

As we entered Port Everglades, the first boat was the biggest...

I can't remember the name of the boat. Anyone?

As we passed this big white cloud, I meant to take a close-up of the stern (you know, so I would remember the name). Oh well, maybe next time... ;)

Docked stern-to-stern with the big white boat above... was this big blue boat.

A little further forward... hard to fit 'em in the lense when you're this close.

That's one big, blue bow. Excellence indeed...

Docked at Pier 66, was this example of a yacht... built no more. :(

As we entered Bahia Mar, we were met with another big white cloud, only this one was silver...

If you see this yacht, you're probably at Bahia Mar. GPS units have been known to use it as a reference... a Southerly point. Looks like a Feadship, but it was built by Pichiotti in 1982. Southerly is 150 feet in length.

    Too Much

    Love your tours. :p
Can you "tone it down" a bit for us regular boat owners next time?
While wonderful, I find these mega-yachts a bit depressing.

After "Platinum"... this *IS* toned-down. ;)

OK... next weekend, we keep 'em mortal-sized. But I refuse to include Boston Whalers! :D
