Took a cruise on Sunday and thought you might like riding along. Hopefully, this will help our viewers in the frozen tundra north of us feel a little warmer. The March Cruise to Palm Beach was especially nice because a number of classics were cruising this day.

Sadly, it's time to relegate this first yacht into the classic category, which means... I'm officially getting old.

    Burger's "Go Fourth"...

"Go Fourth" aft quarter. The lines of the old Burgers & Browards are among the best in the business. Classic. Elegant... affordable! :D

We'll call her... Big, Bold & Old for now! If you have some history on her, let's hear it!

Looks like something stunted this little Trumpy's growth (in comparison to above). ;)

I'm not sure on the make & model on this one. If you know... speak up!

This is the Trumpy "Trianon". She was a late model vessel and a prelude to the flush deck designs we enjoy today.

When she got underway, I had a hard time keeping up. Must have cruised at 18+ knots...

A close-up picture doesn't do justice. The condition of this yacht was outstanding. She looks as though she's been hermetically sealed for the past 40 years.

When was the last time you saw a ladder made of wood?

Fast forward a few years now... this is the Burger "Ar-De". One of my all time favorites!

Makes me wonder what a Trumpy would look like today, if they were still building yachts...

Continuing with the classic theme... anyone remember Moonraker?

The Heesen/Diaship connection was clearly evident...

Although Moonraker was not nearly as fast as the new Millennium... she was one of the fastest yachts of her day.

On the subjects of classics... I think this could fall into the same category, but not by age... by stature.

If the 70's and 80's can be considered classics now, I submit this Bertram YachtFish...
