Perfect framing, proportions, and obstruction free pics! Looking forward to seeing some more of those awesome artistic night time shots you mentioned!!
I was there a little after noon and got to see some close quarter maneuvering as the 125'+ yachts either turned into or backed down the fairway in front of Bahia Mar. I was shooting from Idlewyld Drive, the street that parallels Bahia Mar West of the Intracoastal, so sorry for the occasional palm tree, piling, or fence. I am going to check out the New River downtown over the weekend to see who might be hanging around.

Dropping a few more while I wait for my connection (flight, not internet).

As the sun was beginning to rise and play hide-and-seek, I had to keep changing the camera settings to account for the glare and then shadows. They'll get better.

Many yachts headed north on the ICW as the weatherman was forecasting a pretty stiff wind by mid morning. Fortunately I was shooting from the south side and did get my share of floaters. I heard it was pretty choppy on the high seas by afternoon.

Here's a shot using a telephoto lens (70-300 mm). This way I could stand back about 25 feet and not get my reflection in the bell.

Good for us all, no matter where we live! | It was mostly all Latin American buyers for both sportfish manufacturers. However, it will definately keep the factories busy building boats so that is a good sign.

A few from the booths:
There's a lot of ups and downs in that block
Works of art, propably
Deere's gone orange
Yachtsign's work adorns yachts like Cakewalk, Pegasus V, Natita II, and many others large and small.
By the time I got to this last booth, I was exhausted
Okay, okay, I leave the colorful commentary to disco.
PS Shout out to Capt Evan. Thanks!
