portholes

These images are a great documentary of the respect certain yards give to the Sea for which they are intended. Some would seem to challenge her to push in one of their forward large and illuminous portholes.

Have knowledge of a 55 Hat that pushed in a porthole on Lake Erie a few years back. The mattress that was stuffed in to slow the ingestion got sucked out of the hole in moment. That is not an area to play with.

Well there are a few yachts out there with the name "Sovereign". I think this one might be the one from Broward Marine 1991 I think..

I too was surprised to learn that as well when I toured the Anthony Wayne in Annapolis several years ago. She's a beaut, but I was surprised to find a monochromatic Garmin at her helm.
