HI Yacht news the tender is a Riva Aquariva s and looks very nice,
HI Atomare yes the weather was very good on Saturday but on sunday we had gales and rain.

ANTIBES YACHT SHOW 2010

There were almost 11 000 visitors who attended the 4th Antibes Yacht Show from April 8th through until the11th. The Show marks a second wind in the yachting industry; the economy seems to be getting back on track after the crisis.

Buyers could choose from 150 yachts and almost 180 exhibitors had their products on display. The brokers exhibited yachts up to 55 meters. The S/Y Elena (55 meters) and the M/Y Shandor (50 meters) caught many eyes.

Antibes Yacht Show harbored a wide variety of what’s on the market; for sale or charter, impossible not to find what you’re looking for! Exhibitors were just as diverse, the usual professionals were present. Yachting and luxurious products were mixed harmoniously together: linen, equipments, services, insurances, media, crew agencies…

Whether they were new or established businesses, the exhibitors were satisfied with the business they did during the show. The results of the show are very positive. An impressive amount of offers were made on the bigger yachts. Visitors and exhibitors were very satisfied to be part of the event that starts the season. Mercedes were pleased as they sold a car on their second day of the show.

The new Captains’ Lounge version was also a hit. Captains have enjoyed being pampered. As far as the evenings went, they too received many compliments. The Crew BBQ went on smoothly and welcomed about 300 crew members. The Gala dinner at the Belles Rives hotel went on mostly on the terrace, which offered a magical view of the Juan Les Pins Bay.

Finally the Exhibitors’ Cocktail was the time for all to meet each other again. A networking but relaxed evening that marks the time to examine the past three days. The show was a great success for the organisers who were pleased to see that the show is growing and that many brokers took the opportunity to exhibit before the season starts.
