One the day of the restart of the Clipper Race i was invited to join the unveiling of a bust of well known sailor Bertie Reed. The 2nd photo is of the Voortrekker. This was the boat that he used to go around the world single handed. It belongs to the South African Navy.

Hi Yes she is sitting very low. She is on the rocks and it has a huge hole in her. They had to pump out all the fuel/oil out of her.

And last but no least the best part. The wine tasting. The last photo is me(on the left) with by brother in-law having a good glass of red wine.

Thank you revdcs. I wish i was there for the winter. I had to go back for business. My boss bought a boat there and had to sort out some issues with the shipyard. I am back in Mallorca and it is freezing here.
