ROFLMAO. Now that was funny! For those not familiar, 'Arrigo' is derived from the name of a local Dodge dealer. Wonder if he dodged the Chrysler cuts?

Captains and operators of vessels need to remember that they are responsible for their wake. Well, this Silverton came roaring down the channel and even though he could go fast in the area, he had a wake of at least 4', that sent surrounding boaters grabing for the rails. I dropped to my knees and the bow of our boat fell into the trough, luckily with no injuries.
So to the operator of the vessel, "Thanks, Cracker!".

Oh yeah, not smart to have all those folks on the bow when running like that. Seems to be a normal occurance down here.

The Huckins is a 53 ft Sportsman built in 1968 as Beeswing, now Seahorse. I believe the other boat is a Rybovich built in the 50s, although I saw a very similar boat in Camden last summer and the owner was offended when I asked him how old the boat was because she was brand new.

Thanks Maldwin. Tom & I both thought Rybo, but the aft cabin threw us. Started thinking old Chris, of all things. Similar lines from the time. I think the heat was frying our brains. By the end of the day, I couldn't tell a Bayliner from a Westport.

You're looking at a Silverton with it's fenders flapping away. The wake and bow riders are no surprise. I'd bet on a beer at the helm as well. Ahhhh, summer has finally ended up her. They're yours now.

Did we ever figure the builder of the boat in post #58?
She sure has great lines. Timeless almost.

The 2nd boat in post # 63 is indeed a Rybovich. It's a 52 foot built in 1963. As far as I know it's one of a couple of cruisers they ever built. This one clearly being rigged for fishing. I believe the name is Jim Jim
