Cruising the Baltic

I've long harboured a desire to cruise thru the Baltic Sea for a whole summer.

The March issue of Yachting World mag has a 6 page article with photos that reignited that desire.

Hi Brian, the west coast is nice, but very different from the Baltic. Here on the east coast are more islands with more natural harbours. Still it can get a little crowded in the season, which is from mid june to mid august. But sailors from other countries are coming up to mid september which is better in many ways, except that some places are closed for the season.

Best idea for visitors is to rent a boat and sail around the archipelagos outside Stockholm. With a GPS it is not that difficult any longer.

Should anyone be interested I can give you info on where to get the right info..
