Dear everyone,

What are your plans for the 2008 Palm Beach Boat Show? The dates are between March 27 and March 30.

I'll be there. Carl, will you be floating around the docks?

YF, will you be arranging a get-together like the Miami Show?

If so, please let us know. Everyone's first drink will be on me

Regards,
VR

The Palm Beach Show is actually a good venue for a YF get together. There are several bars & restaurants on Clematis Street, just steps away from the show's entrance. Or, we do our best to sink one of the 2 beer barges on the docks.

Unlike FLIBS & MIBS, the PB Show is easy. Ample parking, fast access and short walks. It's my favorite show and it's growing in popularity (along with PB's demographics).

Here's some thoughts...

Wednesday: If you're staying in Palm Beach the night before the show opens, you might want to check out "Mr. Feelgoods" on Clematis Street. Rock Star Energy drink is having a pre-show party.

Thursday is a work day for most of us, but a late afternoon drink would probably be a welcome escape from the economy.

Friday is a no-go, because everyone is going to the Rybovich Boatyard Ball on Friday night.

Saturday & Sunday: wannabe's, posers, pretenders and fake-it till you make-it types are out in droves. Let's get a table at a beer barge and try to guess their credit scores.

Will be attending Friday afternoon, then off to the Rybo party (see you there Carl).
Again at show all day Saturday, so able to hook up at beer barge any time.

'Fake-it till you make-it', that is hilarious

Let's meet on Saturday afternoon for a beer or two. It seems to be the best choice for everyone. I'll be arriving in PB on Friday.

Dear Dan, I'll take as many photos as possible. Do you have any specific requests ?

Cheers

Anyone know where one can find a list of the brokerage boats that will be displayed at the Palm Beach show?

Now THAT is funny!

Carl, you obviously have walked these docks many times!

We are taking M/Y IBEX to the show this year. We'll be in the 900 series of the docks, at the Bartram & Brakenhoff Brokerage area. Forum members please stop by and introduce yourself and take a tour if you'd like.
