2007 Ft Lauderdale Boat Show - Post Your Photos Here

Well, I'm cheating a little. Was in Ft Lauderdale for a product announcement and was able to stroll through Pier 66 on the eve of the show. Been practicing on night shooting, and although a number came out a little blurry (you can never hold the camera still long enough), I was able to salvage a few. Was trying to catch the lighting effects.

Photo #1 - S/Y Toto (I think, hard to see the name in the dark). Used a 6-sided star filter for effect.
Photo #2 - Colorful sportfish
Photo #3 - All that glitters. Filter jazzed up am otherwise ho-hum shot.

Enjoy the show!

Thumbs up

The semi-rowdy group at the Bahia Mar pool bar was a giveaway that it must be Forum members, but the Kinko's YF logo was the tell-tale.

Thanks for the drinks, Carl! Nice group today, great networking and card exchange, and mostly nice seeing old friends and meeting the not before seen faces behind the avatars.

Thanks to Carl for another accomplishment and thanks for all those introducing yourselves.

Good luck at the show!

Judy

I am so pis_ed of with myself for missing the meeting today. For some stupid reason i thought it was Wednesday today. I just hope that tomorrow there will be a big crowd again and that the people that were there today will be there tomorrow.

Evening all,

Just getting in & logging on. Got lucky with the weather today. The rain held off until the end of the show, but now we have some bright green radar screens. Thanks to everyone for taking time-out to join us. Good to make new friends, great to see old friends. Our world just became a smaller place. Special thanks to Brandon & Tom for bringing the show to our viewers.

Time to sleep. Tomorrow must repeat. Night all!

Going to be some soggy boats this morning. Here's the 7:00 AM radar loop from Weather.com...
