Interesting cabin house on this unidentified yacht

Looks like the cabin house is actually part of the house in the background. |

Capt Tom,
Nice pictures and a great perspective to see them all under way, instead of just looking at their sterns. Thanks for taking the time to shoot them.
I will defintitely stay a few extra days next year.
John

I have never seen a fender arangement like what I am seeing in you Lady Sheridan photos. Where they double fenders over each other. Is this a common practice on other yachts? On other yachts for the most part they put them over the side vertically according to the nature of the dockside. It is interesting on Lady Sheridan. It looks aesthetically pleasing!

YL,
I've seen yachts use the double fender setup when laying up against pilings, and it also helps prevent the fender from riding up and away from the piling. The dock they are approaching is concrete, with the pilings on the outside. The lower fenders will also protect them from the concrete dock. Keep in mind the wind was blowing hard and the yachts probably were tossed a little bit (also from the incoming wave/swell activity at Port Everglades inlet just past the bridge).

Capt Tom,
I was actually praying you wouldn't say that.
Anyway, thanks very much for the pictures you posted.
Greatly appreciate all the effort you put in taking those pics.
Thanks again,
Arnie |

Hey, thanks, Captain Tom. It makes sense though now you explained it.
