Among hot boats like the Alpha Z, there were some hot models too. This is the Bahia Mar bikini team...

And finally, while stuck in show traffic, I saw this smokin' hot red-head in a BMW...

Blazeboss,

Between Tom, Brandon, Graham, John and myself... I think we provided pretty good coverage. We're extremely fortunate to have members covering the show for those who are unable to attend.

I was spread thinner then gelcoat on a Bayliner while interviewing engineers, taking notes, taking pictures and touring several different vessels every day; each needing an entire book dedicated to their build. Full YF features will follow in the coming weeks, but not before we all get a little rest.

I took about 1200 pictures throughout the show. Most of these images will be used as reminders of details that slip my feeble mind in the weeks that follow.

On the day before FLIBS, I took a demo ride on an Enclosed Bridge Sportfish that RayMarine had equipped with their new G-series chart plotting system. These manufacturers have made quantum leaps in display, information & navigation technology in recent years. More on this will follow soon.

That said, some things remain the same. Case in point, notice the high tech beverage holders incorporated into the helm on this model...

And yet another. Say hello to YF's Sr. Writer Chuck Gnaegy. While taking this picture onboard a brand new Brunsomething, I notice a reflection coming off an LCD display that looks... well, not quite right. See next post...

I removed the logo (to protect YF), but unless this is a new language based on condensation, this is a disgrace...

Great job with all the pics & commentary, fellas.
I missed this year's show but got to enjoy it vicariously... I believe it out-sexed Monaco, IMNSHO.

The bridge of the new 37-meter Sunseeker. If Lazy Boy built a captains chair, you'd fall asleep at the wheel with this. Joy stick control on the left arm rest and trackball navigation on the right. Sweet!
