St. Maarten Yachting

This years St.Maarten yacht show was great as expected. Some repeats from last year and a lot of new boats too. I didn't get over to the show for the public viewing but I did manage to get some great shots. Everyday more and more boats would show up and I never knew what to expect. One morning I woke up to see Sherakhan, Floridian, Elegance and Capri all anchored together with some others,, fantastic view from the top of our hotel.
Hope you enjoy my photos.

Steve.

More shots

The night shot was from our dinner table at a new place called Skip Jacks. Does it get any better?

Wow, some real nice yachts in town! Thanks Steve

It seems that you get better views than at Monaco?

very nice!

Great island btw; ive been there a few times, the last time at a remote resort, little houses on the beach, perfect, unfortunately, the whole resort was destroyed at one of the latest storms((

Any signs of damage still on the island?

I dont understand Limitless; i always though that it was a VERY private ship, so what is she doing at a show like that? (another owner?)

St Maarten has definitely established itself as the megayacht center for the Caribbean.

Limitless

Limitless arrived after the show,,
first time I have seen here this time of year,
usually I see her in March when I'm there.
Seems EVERYONE is in SXM this year,
My cousin that lives there, tells me the private jets are all stacked up towards the end end of the runway where all the old junkers are,,,

Homesick

Sorry I missed the show this year. I had planned to be there for the season again but am still in Miami. Hope to be back on island soon. BTW, Limitless was just on her usual berth, I guess.
