I had no doubt you could name 'em Maarten!
I'm working on a rewards program for members that we'll implement in 2006. It will consist of goodies from marine manufacturers in exchange for their product being featured. If they don't ante up, I'll pay for it myself.
The reason I'm doing this is because some forums use the knowledge of their members to benefit their publications. I think this is a crime! Why should a magazine making $500k a month in net profit be able to further profit from the knowledge of their forum members?
Rewards will be based on several criteria, including the number of informative posts, the most helpful responses, best coverage of an event or a yacht, best news, images, etc. It will be up to members of the forum to vote on who recieves each month's award.
But first... there's a lot of code to finish up around here! |

| Yes true
No we are still up by commercial. New River is hard for us as we have a 10ft draft, although we've been up there a few times.

Just got back from a drive through blowing snow at -16C. Brrrrrr, darn ragtops don't keep the heat in. The tour was a great way to warm up. Thanks. |

Way to go Lionel! This boat's been buggin' me for three days. At first, I thought it was a LeClercq. Very, very similar... http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/13017-post35.html
Thanks for the help! |
