Hi,

I think this is the old Mayan Queen/Alfa Alfa.

There are storm shutters all around on the maindeck if you look closely.

This is ex Mi Gaea, Blue Moon, same year as Alfa Alfa though, 1990.

Yes they are Lars, Many yachts use these protective devices to protect the windows of the main deck usually from battering waves and such.

You can see the full-beam Master-Stateroom windows of VaVa covered in this material..

New yacht on delivery aboard the cargo ship Gloria in Gibraltar yesterday.

Yacht DILBAR in Gibraltar today.

Sailing vessel MITSEAAH also in Gibraltar today.

Are you referring to Jo's bow down attitude and the crew hanging at the aft deck? Jo's a pretty boat, but does anyone have info on her running angle. Those look like only 4' to 6' seas.
