And this is "Tommy". Somewhat unusual to see yachts with men's names, but we found two at the Miami Marina. |

The sun was setting on the bay, but managed to take one more picture before heading to home port. This is a 105' Pool Chafee named "Explorer One", a rather unique looking yacht.
That's all folks! Thanks for cruisin' along with us.

"And one more yacht at Fisher Island. My first guess is a Bennetti, but I'm willing to be corrected..."
This yacht is Gray Mist III, 142ft and launched in 1995 by Breaux Bay Craft in Louisiana. Her owners hail from Chicago.

You're absolutely correct! That was the Gray Mist III. I saw the name as we rounded the transom, but failed to remember it when I posted the pictures. Thanks!
How do you know the details on Gray Mist?

The magazine Boat International did a feature on Grey Mist III back around the time she was launched. She was also profiled in the Superyachts, Vol. 12. Lots of beautiful pictures of her equally beautiful interior were included.

Beautiful pictures of Miami, reminds me of what I was doing when crusing around down there last fall. Starting the begining of August I'll be down there full-time (college). Can't wait to get some intracoastal cruising.

This Unidentified Floating Object (UFO) is a 1996 Dettling 51 (with hull design by Raymond Hunt). Attached are a couple more photos of same from the archives.
