New Bloemsma & van Breemen 40m Dubois

Hallo,

For the Bloemsma & van Breemen Shipyard I am working on a 3d model of there new to build yacht. Its a work in progress. I will update the thread when I have nice renderings to show.
I hope you like it. Comments and critics are more than welcome.

One question: Does anyone have some photograpic material of a mast that is simmilar to the one on this ship? I need some reference material for the spreaders. I cant find anything usefull on the net.

(Admin Edit: Images Removed per Request)

Hi,

Your post raises a few question.

What is the mast going to be made from?

Are they going to use this 3d Model to build the boat?

Can you not obtain the desired info from the Mast Builders?

Does your client (Nico) and his client( the Owner of the boat) know you have posted his project on the internet?

Mast will be made from carbon fiber. I emailed the mast builder but I only got cad drawings and I need fotographic material. This model wil not used to build the boat. Only for commericial purpose.

I have already done a couple of projects for Nico. The Griffioen complete in 3d:

And a animation of the flying eagle. And I also build there new website.

Hi,

Can you take the spreader base out of the CAD file and make your 3d model off this?

If it's just used to show the commercial side of things just how much of an exact replica does it need to be?

I make it so exact possible. The details will make the picture. I want to make a photorealistic picture of it. So the details are verry inportant.

The spreaders are not in the drawings. (its a verry simple drawing)

On the wally pictures I did it like this:

But I dont know if this is the right way.

Hi,

I would think that if you explained to the mast builders what you were after the info for that they would be able to provide you a drawing of the actual spreader base arrangement( if they are that far down the track with the design themselves)
