Bertram sportfish "Certifiable" for sale?

How about dealers with ethics?
Guess what I saw displayed for sale at the Miami boat show?
A really nice yellow Bertram named "Certifiable"
You could see where the name had been removed on the transom but it was still on the chair and the pillows inside.

How do you fix this boat where it is seaworthy enough to sell to someone?
Pretty simple to fix the outer areas of de-lamination, re-gelcoat and fair, but how to you ever know if the inner layers are bonded to the core?

Would you go offshore in this boat?

I took pictures of it but they are pretty high resolution and I have trouble getting them down to size.

To my knowledge has been for sale since last Summer, but they told me that it was at Allied Marine. Those pictures show a Marine Max sticker.
Also the original owner also bought it from Allied Marine so I am even more confused with that sticker.
According to what I know Marine Max dealership with Bertram is also nearly ended, and is only left virtually till MM sell the remaining stock.
Someone I know also saw it being repaired at the factory in Spring, when it was nearly completed.

Now all what I said can be wrong if it was sold and it is back in the market by a new owner, but why leave the stickers?

Shortly after the Certifiable episode when it was rumored to have been repaired I saw what appeared to be the same boat on Ebay from MM. As the op pointed out the interior had pillows all over it that clearly had the name on it. Yellow hull yada yada. There was no mention to it's history in the listing. Perhaps if someone went to purchase it they would have to disclose this? I have no idea if the history has to be mentioned. Just curious myself.

This is not the same boat that had the problems last year. This was the owners 1st 63’.

Before this boat owners chances of re-sale are affected, how about we find out the H.I.N of the De-Laminated Bertram and then ask for this ones' H.I.N.
Far too important for speculation, or not?
In either case, the owner is CRAZY to use the Cerifiable name!

These are the HINS and other details of the previous Certifiables. According to this the first Certifiable was not a 630 as the dimensions are different, but nor it is a 570 as it is a bit bigger. I read he had a 60 before going for a 570, a 630, and now a 700

No speculation here...this is not the boat that had the issues last year. That boat wax fixed and sold within 60 days to an owner in
South America that saw the boat in the condition when it was pulled out in Palm Beach (in case someone was wondering).

I’m not quite sure what you are asking….? If I didn’t know (things like this) I would not be doing my job. My knowledge is from asking questions, and most important seeing with my own two eyes.
