The Benetti m/y Xanadu was launched-at least the hull and shell- late last year if I remember correctly. She is due for launch as a whole in May 2008. The Xanadu looks like a cross between a Galaxy and a slightly new design. At nearly 60M, 59M to be more precise, she will make a statement when launched and delievered.
One of the features that will be a hit -so to speak- will be the grand staircase. This staircase will be gravitated through three decks but what is amazing is that this spiraling staircase will be capped-off with a skylight. It will not be any ordinary skylight but will be the bottom of the pool on the forward sundeck. This will be a feature that the 14 guests can enjoy while aboard.
The Xanadu will carry 14 guests as mentioned. The sleeping arrangement will be spread through a number of rooms. These rooms include the spacious Owners Suite, A VIP Cabin and five other Guest Cabins. The guests aboard will not only sleep in comfort but they will also eat and dine in comfort. The main dining room, located on the main deck will feature a custom table that will seat 14 at a time. This will enable the guests to be seated at once and enjoy dinner in a social atmosphere. If you want to take an isolated dip, you can make your way to the sundeck.
The highest deck on this yacht will be the sundeck. The sundeck will be adorned with features that endorse your being to relax and enjoy. The sizable pool, area for grilling and Barbaques, relaxtion on loungers as well as sunpads and exercise on gym equipment. The choices are to be nearly endless.
The designer for the Benetti m/y Xanadu is the world renowned British based Andrew Winch Designs. With such expertise on hand for this beautiful yacht, good looks will not be rare.
