Benetti launches second Delfino 93, "Mary-Rose"
Another launch splashes into the water at the Viareggio facilities of Italian builder Benetti Yachts. She is the second Delfino 93 yacht of that new series. The first debuted publically at the 2010 edition of the show in Cannes.
The construction of "Mary-Rose" is composite in nature. Her interior-which is by Carlo Galeazzi- plays host to ten guests. Top speed is dialed in at 14 knots with cruising a few knots slower. Her range at about 12 knots is expected to be 1,500 nautical miles. Mary-Rose
has a number of special features that the owner asked for. "...at the request of the owner, a modern audio-distribution system was installed on board, allowing optimal enjoyment of music selections both inside and outside (on the sundeck alone, there are six subwoofers).
And in a world premiere in the boating sector, the yacht is fully equipped with an external LED lighting system using RGB WHITE, an innovative technology that enables illumination of exterior areas in over 30 combinations of colours and tones and, varying with the chromatic appearance, makes it possible to have optimal lighting and atmosphere at all times in any light conditions."
This year has been more than successful for the Italian yacht company with several launches. The 45-meter "Told U So" is completed, 65-meter "Nataly" is conducting trials, the launch of 60-meter project 'Sofia' and Mary-Rose
along with the new hull of the Tradition 105, the Classic 121 "Domani" all will be keeping Benetti really busy. For more information:
