Benetti Sail Division introduces 131' World Traveler
Benetti Sail Division is well known for constructing pocket mega yachts but they have been creating ever larger designs. One of these designs is the BSD131 World Traveller. If you are familiar with Benetti Sail Division, then the BSD 131 should not appear to be a strange design. She is basically an enlarged version of the BSD "Grand Cru III".
The 131-footer is the result of a collaboration between Benetti Sail Division and P.B. Behage and is not the first time this collaboration has been built. This is the reason why the BSD 131 looks inherently related to the Grand Cru III.
The same collaborative effort helped to produce the Grand Cru III
and the 131 now comes in a striking deep red colored hull.
This impressive design, is expected to have a range over 5,000 nautical miles. Twin CAT C32 ACERT engines propel the BSD 131 to a top speed of 14 knots and an economical speed of 10 knots to realize that impressive 5,300 nautical mile range. On the inside, space is abundant and the layout helps make this a reality.
The BSD131 accommodates up to twelve guests and eight or nine crew members. On the exterior decks, there are distinctive regions for sun beds. A jacuzzi is located on the aft sun deck and there is a small perch deck accessed via stairs from the sun deck where two loungers can be found. The perimeter is secured by polished stainless steel rails. The 265 ton vessel is expected to be a well crafted and well constructed vessel if the Grand Cru III
is a bench mark to go by. Another wonderful BSD and P.B. Behage successful collaboration hopefully soon to be realized. For more information:
