Gitana is a displacement motoryacht of 53 meters with a tonnage of 620 tonnes. Her lines are unmistakable and easily recognized as Baglietto. The design is harmonious and mixes technology with performance.
Thanks to the detailed design of the hull and the group of excellence from those at the La Spezia yard in Italy, Gitana can attain speeds of up to 17 knots. This is an exceptional speed for a boat of these dimensions. She is also very economical with an economic range of 4,500 nautical miles.
Gitana is equipped with the most modern control systems. She has monitoring systems for surveillance and emergency management. She carries two main motors Caterpillar 3516B engines. 90,000 liters of fuel feed these CATS and at 12 knots 4,500 NM can be traveled.
The main hall, divided in area from lunch for twelve persons and an in-zone relax-living area. The owner's suite is located on the Main Deck to the fore of the yacht. This area of the yacht is wide and offers the full beam to be utilized for a study, two dressing rooms and two baths - with box shower and another with massaging bathtub.
On the Main Deck there is a professional kitchen and access to crew areas. The yacht can accommodate ten persons in double cabins all equipped with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a cabin for the captain. The bridge is located on the Upper Deck and comprises of the latest in technology and navigation equipment.
The Lower Deck it is dedicated to the guests, with four cabins planned in order to maximize all the spaces available. Two spacious VIP type cabins are also located below The external area of the open deck accommodates a table that services twelve persons.
The decks offer beautiful sights of the world as Gitana sails. As a result of her economy, she can cross oceans and take her guests safely to the far reaches of the globe.
