Hi. I'm considering to buy the new Azimut 116', European version. I only have a few questions about it. What is the minimum crew number to operate it? I know that are several crew rooms, but i want to know just the minimum ( counting with Captain and cheef). Were can i get special formation to the crew (to this boat)? I was in the official Azimut website, but i haven't got a reply.
crew requirement this may differ according to the flag state. once you specify the flag you are going to register, you can check that registry for the minimum number of crew to be employed for that size of boat/ship.
I live in Azores, Portugal, but were i do the flag registation doesen't metter to me. Simply it can be in any country in the world , and is for that reason that i came to here ask to help, because in my country is easy to know, just a few phone calls, lol. So if you could say me what is the minimun and were, i apreciate.
I don't know if you're talking only about legal requirements, I don't know much about that. But, if you are talking in a practical sense, I would say three crew probably could make it work without much problem. Captain is one, crew/engineer is another, crew/chef is another.
Thank you elsupremo, it was one of my questions, now i will ask by some places about the legal requirements. Oh, by the way, i have already the Azimut, just haven't yet the crew.
Thanks, is my oppinion too (that is one of the reasons to own it). In this forum i see so litle talk about it that is always good to see someone with the same taste and oppinion.
