Azimut 103s

It is no secret anymore, the Azimut 103s is out and running. She was introduced to the world at the just recently concluded Dubai Yacht show. It is up to you to decide whether she is a beuty or not but for me, she is outstanding. She is clearly kept the famous lines of the Azimut 86s but adopted some individual and personalized style of her own.

Boasting the metalic red hull, she demands speed and comfort. The 103s is not exactly express speed as compared to others but she is fast. She is able to attain 34 knots. This is surely fast enough to get you where you need to be in short range.

Some of the noted changes from the 86s to this are: the elaborated skylight over the salon, the flybridge configuration, off course she is bigger than the 86s and the radar arch is more stylish. For more, you can revert to the Azimut yachts website for pics and everything else.

I would be interested to see what Lars would be thinking about this design..
Do you like it... or not.. or just see her as a bigger version of the 86s?

You have a clue here; http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/az...imut-105s.html

There was also a small Az with this styling on the Stockholm Boat Show, 40 or 43´perhaps.

Not a single line to my taste unfortunately, I prefer the older Azimuts from mid 90:s, the 40´ and up to the 100´ Jumbo...

Actually, when I think of it, the interiors from the 90:s would fit better with the new design and the new and nice interiors should be perfect with the old exterior design...

Err, I don't think the arching windows on the side of the deckhouse are beyond redemption. There are a LOT worse window treatments currently on the market. But that "flybridge" deck is really overdone.

Eliminate some feet on that overhanging flying bridge and scrap that Shark Fin arch and you have yourself a nice looking yacht.
