Alloy yachts launch 44.2-meter "Imagine II"
Alloy yachts have successfully launched another yacht for 2010. Their latest yacht is the new
Imagine, the 44.20-meter "Imagine II" which was launched on June 15th. The new yacht was once again designed by Dubois Naval Architects.
The results are no less than astonishing, a design which called for sleek and fast lines developing into a vessel that is capable for racing as well as leisure cruising. She will no doubt be more spacious than her predecessor boasting a 9.38-meter overall beam.
The interior has been done by Alloy with the personal suggestions and touches by the owner of
Imagine II. Varying draught can be created via her lifting keel allowing her to approach shallower coves and bays, giving the onboard experience further intimacy. After being launched on pontoons to safely keep her draught from hitting the bottom she was then taken to the Viaduct Harbour where she will recieve her Southern Spars mast and rig assemblies.
