Zenobia by Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts

The newest delivered yacht by the German yard of Abeking & Rasmussen if this ZENOBIA. Another in the same series with the name of KWIKUMAT had been launched but so far she has not been delivered to her owners.

Zenobia is seen her at Cap d'Ail near Monaco in June 2003.

A very fine looking yacht! I especially like the "brows" or "overhangs" that extend forward from the bridge/pilothouse. So many new yachts have favored sleek swept back lines, but Zenobia achieves this look while incorporating classic design elements such as forward brows.

A magnificent yacht and an excellent photographer.... thanks Christo!

Hi Barno!

Welcome aboard. Glad to see Zenobia made a yachting enthusiast out of you. Sometimes, there's greater pleasure in looking at them than owning them!

For many of us, we may never own vessels of this magnitude, but we can still dream and aspire, or at the very least... work toward a small version of the same.

I hope you don't mind, but I edited the picture you supplied of Zenobia to fit better and allow faster downloads for viewers on dial up.

If you have any more pictures or information (on any vessel), please feel free to post. Again, welcome to YachtForums. We'll look forward to seeing you online.

Carl

In the photo #4 of Zenobia titled " midships " what are the openings just forward of the running lights - docking platforms or ? .

The openings forward of the running lights most likely conceal the life-rafts. In an emergency they would open and the rafts would deploy.
