The genesis of the concept was no other than Ken Cook of Hydrofoils, Inc. Here's a picture of one of the original renderings, before it was scaled up to a military gun ship.

Once again, the world proves money does not art create, but only renders ready salvage. Ugh to all from a design perspective.
