I was based on FXE for the better part of 12 years! I had one of Whittington's T- hangars at the northwest perimeter of the airport for 4 years. This is where I kept the R-22 and a couple of raceboats. Later, I had an office/warehouse on the north side of runway 8/26 and immediately east of the aero toy store (1500 Cypress Creek Road, to be exact). From here, I was fortunate to see almost every departure or return for 7 years. And man... that's a lot of aircraft. In those years, FXE was touted as being the busiest exec, airport in the country. I don't know how it compares now. I've been off site for 8 years.

I've still got some some friends on the airport. I might be able to pull a string or two if you need.
