Thank you,
What I think I can do best is what is called styling and the general accommodation plan (GA). If a client should like a subdued and contemporary interior design I can do that too.
What I am not so very interested in is the hull parameters and the engineering of the build. There are many naval architects and engineers out there, often linked to the shipyard who in the end will be responsible for the construction anyway.
Most fun is to get the puzzle together in a way that satisfies both the buyer, the crew and the shipyard. A yacht that is easy to love, to live and to build.
I donīt know if we have "national" styles on yachts any longer? In Italy they build "down-east" style boats as well as in the US you build European style. If you take Wally-yachts, they look more Scandinavian than Italian, and Windy from Norway has an Italian style...
But I got your point, the right mix of Scandinavian and Italian design will be a timeless beauty
May I also take the opportunity to wish all the YachtForums members a Nice and Peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
