I was about to buy a new car this AM. Guess I'll keep my Sonata a little longer. Considering the price difference for diesel over 87 octane in this area that would equate to about 25 or 26 mpg (guesstimate not calculation) for a gas car. Still respectable though.
Truthfully, the magic number for me to buy a new car is 45mpg and that number will rise with the price of fuel. Auto mfgs. RU listening. If you want my 20K to 30K you need to be. My car can last another 5 years if you're not.
