More importantly, at the size these things apparently are, the massive chord of the front screen will mean very thick glass, probably laminated, to comply with even basic build regs....the visibility therefore will be abysmal due to refraction and striations in the glass, even worse if the screen panels are curved. Tinted front screens are not allowed by most ruling bodies, so the skipper and any guests sat next to him will cook too. |
