We could turn this thread in to a reference work. All the miss-communications, miss-interpretations and translation errors that we've had to pay for. Perhaps prevent someone from making the same errors. Lord knows I'm running lower on the time left to make all the possible errors myself although, from outward appearances, I do seem to have an almost religious dedication to the pursuit of making them all myself.

Yup, I often wonder who that old guy looking back at me in the mirror is. Don't know him, and wonder how he got in to my house. Bugger isn't even paying me rent that I know of.

"Of course the threads on that shaft are cut the right way. I'm right handed so of course it's a right thread. If you want it to be a left handed thread then just turn the nut over and screw it on using your left hand." This could only be said with a straight face and the level of earnest self-assurance possessed by a youngster.
