Port of Fano: As reported two days earlier, the Wally 148 deep-water sailer left the building sheds to be launched. The yacht was quietly launched at the Port of Fano among the WallyEurope team and yacht crew as well.
According to Wally, the 148 foot long sail yacht, their largest to date, will be towed to Ancona on Saturday to have her keel installed. Later in the month (April), the mast will be stepped and rigging installed. Once completed, a set of sea-trials will be conducted before delivery to her owners in mid-June.
