This article is tailored for most people who are through with high school or college. Do not be discouraged by the first part of the article. Read on where is talks about college and trade schools.

I went to the University of Michigan and received my degree in naval architecture from there. I highly recommend UofM. The closest university to you that offers naval architecture is the University of New Orleans. If you get into the Naval Acadamy in Annapolis, you can major in naval architecture there.
