I'm jealous of all this winter beauty. My childhood involved real snow, real magic. The Cheviot Hills in winter were a wondrous scene. Later in life, it was not unusual to be unable to get to work as the roads had disappeared under a blanket of white...not able to compete with you guys, but convincing enough. Alas, that was a part of my homeland that had the winters, but no marine industry. My current area of UK residence has the industry but no winters. My cold-blooded wife relies on the heat of the sun to operate, but I work as well furred-up or short sleeved. I miss it.
