While the MCA Large Yacht Code remains in draft form, we have had it confirmed to us (YES and our naval architectural firm, Kirilloff & Assoc (www.kirilloff.com)) that the accepted LZ diameter is/will be .82D in the final draft. An excellent contact who sits on the committee and is a experienced expert in his own right is Nigel (Heli Riviera), and he has also confirmed that this is the accepted requirement.

We are thinking of stationing YES platforms in the yachting playgrounds on a seasonal basis to provide "per trip" helicopter landing services at sea with associated tender shuttle services to and from the respective client's yacht.

We did get this discussion going under a strange thread......
