| January 25, 2008: This was a very significant date in the construction process of the Endeavour II. Endeavour II is a brand new replica of the J-Class sailer, Endeavour that is currently underconstruction and being built by Royal Huisman.
What was significant about the above mentioned date was that the aluminum hull was turned. For those who may not know, the hulls of these vessels are constructed in a inverted fashion. Upon the completion, the hull needs to be inverted to be oriented in an upright manner in the way it will sit in the water. This then facilitates the builders to add the deck houses and work on the deck and so on.
