Royal Huisman yard has been given the 'green light' to build a 43M long sail vessel. The sail yacht will be configured with a sloop rig and built to a design of German Frers. The interior is said to be done by Rhoades Young Design.
Provisions will be made for a master stateroom and three guest cabins. One could create the notion that she will carry around 8 individuals. Being a performance sloop, there will be a heavy emphasis upon the sailing characteristics of the vessel.
The Gitana II will feature belowdeck storage for what is termed as a large tender. She is slated for delivery in 2011 so stayed tuned to the Royal Huisman website in the near future for updates.
