Here is some information about the show for some people who might want to come there for the first time.

Do not attemp to park at the show. There are a couple of lots near the entrance at $50.00. The most fun way is to park at a remote lot and take the water taxi.

You can not see everything in one day. The convention center has boats under 40 feet and all the boat show booths with shoes, jewelry, fishing stuff and more. Pier 66 has free admission to get in to see maybe 100 boats from 50'-125'. Bahia MarMarina, Hall of fame Marina and the City Marina at Las Olas are all connected with the majority of boats. To walk from one end to the other, inside the show, without stopping to go on a boat could take 30 to 50 minutes. Electronics tent, engine builders and the Superyacht Tent are at Bahia Mar.

There are a number of floating cocktail barges with live music.

Wear shoes that are easy to take off as you can not wear them on board, but make sure they are comfortable for a lot of walking and standing.

All of the boats on display are for sale, the brokers and salespeople on board would like to sell something. If you are just curious or sightseeing, tell them.

Wear sunscreen, dress for hot weather.

have fun, buy a yacht....
